A leading automotive technology firm based in Valladolid, Spain is seeking a skilled individual to design software algorithms for embedded ECM/hEVC systems. The role requires expertise in embedded software design, model-based development, and validation methods. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Automotive, Electrical preferred) and possess strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. What You Will Do

• Design software algorithms for ECM/hEVC systems based on project needs.
• Create software specifications aligned with internal standards and architectures.
• Develop functional and dysfunctional validation plans.
• Perform MIL (Model-in-Loop) validation, deliver test cases and reports.
• Provide documentation and pre‑calibration datasets for tuning teams.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Conduct activities related to SW conception, validation, and problem analysis.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in embedded software design and model‑based development (Matlab‑Simulink).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Automatics, Computers, Electronics preferred).
• Excellent skills in validation methods for embedded SW and technical reporting.
• Strong competencies in problem‑solving and collaboration, with a multicultural approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
