Our client is a highly regarded fintech delivering web-native collaboration and workflow technology to investment operations teams across the global financial markets.

They're already trusted by hundreds of financial institutions worldwide, and the platform supports critical functions such as securities settlements, corporate actions and collateral management.

The business operates with the backing of a major financial market infrastructure provider, while retaining the pace and mindset of a modern fintech.

As a Software Engineer, you'll join a small, highly capable engineering team shaping the future of a mission‑critical platform.

Engineers here are full‑stack generalists who value clean design, quality engineering and a strong DevOps culture.

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in an agile environment, gaining exposure to all parts of the system having real influence over technical decisions.

• Design, develop and maintain server‑side Java applications

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years' experience in server‑side Java development
• Strength in at least three areas such as web technologies, messaging, data modelling, security, concurrency or performance tuning
• A strong focus on testing, reliability and quality
• Experience working in small, productive Agile/Scrum teams
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g. Exposure to cloud platforms, Kubernetes or DevOps tooling
• A Computer Science degree or related background

Location: Spain - Remote

Initial contract would be via Deel (when the team is established the business will look to incorporate in Spain).
