The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree and have over 18 months of relevant experience in the construction industry. Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in Engineering required.
• General Construction Induction (White Card) is essential.
• 18+ months’ experience as a Graduate/Site Engineer is required.

Job Description

The Project & Opportunity

For one of our Sydney based projects, we are looking for a Site Engineer to assist in the achievement of the required objectives of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor key construction requirements and implement prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers work.
• Manage the verification of conformance for works under control.
• Maintain all relevant project document control and records.
• Manage temporary works design and ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained.
• Ensure all works are controlled through approved inspection and test plans.
• Ensure all subcontractors have been advised of the relevant Quality Control requirements and applicable standards.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or similar (Essential).
• General Construction Induction (White Card) (Essential).
• Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) (Desirable).
• 18+ months experience in Graduate / Site Engineer role (Essential).
• Experience working in the construction industry (Desirable).
