We are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our global payroll team of five professionals. Based in Spain or the UK, you will play a key role in managing payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, with primary responsibility for Spain, UK, France, and Portugal payrolls. You will also act as a backup for other EMEA payrolls, supporting the delivery of a seamless, compliant, and employee-focused payroll experience across the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to step into a high-impact regional role in a global organization, where you’ll combine hands-on delivery with process optimization, compliance expertise, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end payroll process for UK, Spain, France, and Portugal, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Collaborate with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal) to ensure smooth payroll execution
  • Review and validate payroll inputs/outputs, including salary, benefits, deductions, taxes, and statutory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting obligations in each assigned country
  • Reconcile payroll reports and general ledger accounts; support accounting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for assigned payrolls and provide back-up support for other EMEA payrolls
Process Improvement & Technology
  • Partner with the global payroll team to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Leverage payroll technologies and tools (experience with ADP Streamline a plus) to drive efficiency, scalability, and accuracy
  • Champion continuous improvement and standardization across EMEA payroll operations
Compliance & Audit
  • Support internal, external, and statutory audits with accurate documentation and timely responses
  • Stay current on local legislation, taxation changes, and employment regulations across assigned payrolls
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive multi-country payroll experience, with strong expertise in UK and/or Spain payroll; experience in France and Portugal is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of EMEA payroll regulations, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Hands-on experience with global payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Ceridian); ADP Streamline strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to collaborate across HR, Finance, and external vendors
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, comfortable working in a matrixed global environment
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) a plus

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of BMC\'s employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is €38,700 - €64,500
