Global process owner for Refurbishment / Reprocessing at Sonova’s sites in SOCM (MX), RCSE (ES), and SOCC (CN).
Based in SOCM or RCSE, the role involves:
- Setting the global strategy for Refurbishment and Reprocessing processes to improve quality, delivery, cost, and environmental impact while ensuring compliance.
- Functionally owning the global Refurbishment and Reprocessing processes, designing and maintaining these processes, and driving local implementation.
- Owning and executing strategies to optimize processes and capabilities, impacting service cost, reliability, quality, environmental impact, and delivery across all sites globally.
Tasks & Responsibilities :
Strategic leadership - Own and execute strategy :
- Drive the execution of the global Refurbishment / Reprocessing roadmap in alignment with global and regional strategies.
- Collaborate with the commercial organization to promote circularity initiatives and reprocessed components.
- Design and update the 'to-be' process and site footprint, including logistics and planning.
- Understand and embed regulatory, customs, finance, tax, and compliance requirements into processes, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Work with global service process managers to maximize refurbishment/reprocessing/reuse capabilities during product design and development.
In collaboration with global and regional planning and material management, adjust guidelines, train staff, and ensure adherence.
- Serve as SAP GPO for Refurbishment/Reprocessing processes in SAP, aligning business processes in ERP.
- Improve costing approaches and pricing models with OPS controlling.
- Establish and optimize refurbishment concepts for non-BTE product families.
- Develop and update global SOPs and ensure process compliance.
Focus on end-to-end process optimization, especially at SOCM and RCSE sites:
- Coordinate efforts to convert inventory into SEMs.
- Standardize processes across major sites, sharing best practices, applying Lean concepts, and optimizing yield, productivity, and layout.
- Develop measurement standards, set targets, and benchmark performance.
- Build a network of regional leaders to align processes and organization.
Your profile :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a technical field.
- Over 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong project management and supply chain knowledge, including value chain optimization, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean systems and manufacturing optimization.
- Experience leading initiatives across multiple sites.
- Desirable: Experience in refurbishment/reprocessing and service processes.
- Analytical, strategic, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective influencer and cross-functional partnership builder.
- Leadership skills to inspire and develop teams.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus.
- IT skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP BW, and SAP systems.
