Our international client is on the lookout for a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer with AI knowledge. This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, passionate team that’s reimagining how modern cloud platforms operate across the enterprise.

You’ll be joining a highly skilled engineering team responsible for building and maintaining one of Europe’s most advanced Azure environments that allow internal teams to deploy and operate GenAI workloads efficiently and responsibly - at scale, with automation, security, and performance at its core.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, maintain and optimize robust and scalable IT platforms, with a focus on cloud (mainly Azure) services for data, ML and GenAI workloads, to meet business needs and performance standards.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using terraform
• Set up and manage Azure OpenAI and Azure Machine Learning environments, including access control, monitoring, and cost governance.
• Review and improve code written by other team members to ensure best practices and performance standards.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell for automation, Azure modules and error handling.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, security concepts, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Keep up to date with Azure platform capabilities and emerging GenAI services, advising on adoption where appropriate

What we’re looking for

• Strong technical knowledge in Terraform and Azure Services.
• Solid knowledge of Azure networking, security, and identity services (Entra ID)
• Skilled in Bash and PowerShell scripting, with solid understanding of JSON and YAML.
• Exposure to Python, networking, and security hardening is a plus.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for version control and automation.
• Confident communicator and problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder projects with evolving requirements.
