About the Job
- Utilize deep technical skills to create secure software products, collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure security is integrated from design to deployment.
- Stay updated with TUI group practices and promote a 'security first' mindset.
- Work with engineering teams to understand threats, business needs, and security risks.
- Provide tooling and automation to identify threats and vulnerabilities proactively.
- Design, build, test, and deploy software on AWS.
- Apply an engineering approach to solve security problems efficiently, guiding teams in tool selection and problem-solving.
- Focus on business-oriented solutions with a commercial mindset.
- Communicate ideas effectively and translate them into actionable outcomes.
- Research, evaluate, and test new security approaches, processes, and tools, helping teams adopt them.
- Maintain strong connections within the domain and broader community.
- Embed security practices into all aspects of work.
About You
- Experience with information security standards, threat modeling, and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong automation skills and experience with programming languages.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
- Customer-centric with a passion for delivering digital products and services.
- Committed to software craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
- Excellent coaching and training abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Awareness of social and ethical implications of software engineering.
