Una empresa industrial internacional busca un/a Coordinador/a de Seguridad para garantizar un entorno laboral seguro y saludable. Este rol incluye impulsar mejoras en la cultura de salud y seguridad, gestionar evaluaciones de riesgos y promover una cultura de prevención. Se requiere título en ingeniería y máster en prevención de riesgos, además de experiencia previa en el sector. Formación

  • 3–5+ años de experiencia en un entorno industrial.

Mission

As a Safety Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind safety at the plant, ensuring that every employee can work in a safe and healthy environment. Your mission is to make a tangible impact in risk prevention and in promoting a safety‑first culture.

Lead

the implementation and monitoring of prevention programs, ensuring that safety standards are met and continuously improved.

Coordinate

risk assessments and action plans, working cross‑functionally across all departments.

Promote

a strong safety culture, motivating and training personnel to achieve the Zero Incident goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement and actively promote the Health & Safety approach on site.
  • Influence and strengthen the Health & Safety culture to achieve expected performance levels.
  • Advise and provide operational Health & Safety support to Site Management.
  • Communicate and deploy Health & Safety policies and initiatives from Corporate, Group, Division and Country levels.
  • Identify risks across all departments and alert management when required.
  • Propose, develop and implement action plans and prevention programs aimed at reducing occupational risks and preventing incidents and occupational diseases.
  • Define priorities in coordination with Site Management.
  • Conduct risk assessments (occupational, chemical, ergonomic, equipment‑related, project‑related, etc.).
  • Participate in Management of Change (MoC) projects.
  • Ensure proper follow‑up and closure of action plans.
  • Lead task forces and the Safety Star Point Team.
  • Ensure safety and incident reporting, including root cause analysis.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements, communicate updates and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure training, awareness and engagement of personnel in Health & Safety matters.
  • Define, implement and maintain safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure understanding and enforcement of safety rules and requirements.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections.
  • Manage specific safety topics (PPE, fire drills, emergency preparedness, etc.).
  • Participate in site and division meetings and committees.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Work Council, Mutua, authorities, etc.).
  • Contribute to division‑wide Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Promote and apply 5S standards and Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) policies.
Profile & Requirements
  • Engineering degree, plus Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, with specialization in Ergonomics, Psychosociology and Industrial Hygiene.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of local Health & Safety regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands‑on profile, with strong presence on the shop floor.
  • Proactive, rigorous, autonomous and pragmatic.
  • Results‑oriented with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage projects and work transversally across departments.
  • High level of reliability and trust, capable of taking ownership in urgent or critical situations.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility.

24/7 availability required in case of emergencies or urgent meetings.
