The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of project management experience, ideally in corporate interiors construction. You'll be responsible for assessing locations, managing budgets, and collaborating with regional teams to deliver sustainable workplace solutions. Strong relationship-building, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we’ll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
As a Real Estate Project Manager you will join our firm’s Real Estate Team, providing strategic and hands‑on expertise managing McKinsey’s global real estate portfolio.
Your primary role will support McKinsey locations in the Asia‑Pacific Region, executing McKinsey’s real estate strategy and providing best‑in‑class, sustainable workplace solutions across the region.
You will work closely with the regional Portfolio Manager to assess the suitability of current locations, assess potential new locations and buildings, provide programmatic support in building project requirements, help build project budgets and provide ownership and active management of approved budgets. Through established competitive processes, you will lead the sourcing and building of external professional teams required for project execution (ex. project managers, architects, builders, etc.). You will actively manage these external teams from project inception through completion. You will develop, use and share best practice standards including technical, process and coordination documents required in the successful delivery of sustainable interior fit‑outs. You will collaborate with location leaders, IT colleagues and other internal stakeholders on building and delivering on all project requirements.
Your work will ensure sustainable workplaces are built to firm standards and meet local program, operational and aspirational requirements. The spaces you build will provide a home for our consultants to anchor themselves, collaborate, learn, develop and perform their best work in serving our clients.
