A leading consulting agency is seeking a Quality Engineer for their client's operations in Barcelona, Spain. This role involves developing and maintaining quality control processes, collaborating across teams to resolve quality issues, and ensuring compliance with specifications in manufacturing. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant engineering degree and possess 3-5 years of quality engineering experience, with strong knowledge of quality standards and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in machinery manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes for manufacturing.
• Measure parts, compare with drawings, return defective parts.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and service teams to resolve quality issues.
• Inspect components and finished machines for compliance with specifications.
• Identify and document quality issues, recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare quality reports for stakeholders.
• Support supplier quality management including audits.

They are looking to hire Quality Engineer for their operations in Europe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes for manufacturing and maintainingmachines.
• Measure parts, compare with the drawings, return defective parts and report for non-conformity documentation.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and service teams to resolve quality issues
• Inspect components, sub-assemblies, and finished machines to ensure compliance withspecifications and standards.
• Identify, document, and analyze quality issues, and recommend corrective and preventiveactions.
• Prepare quality reports, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support supplier quality management, including audits, evaluations, and establishing qualityagreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or relevant Engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in machinery manufacturing is a plus.

Experience :

• 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in printing machinery, packaging, ormanufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools, quality control software, and testing methods.

Quality Engineer will work from Barcelona, Spain.

Reports To

Quality Engineer will be reporting CEO.
