A professional services company is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a hybrid role based in Malaga, Spain. You will be integral in assuring the quality of digital platforms, participating throughout the development lifecycle from solution definition to automated testing of microservices, APIs, and front-end applications. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and familiar with agile methodologies, various testing tools, and have a solid understanding of Java and Selenium. This role offers the opportunity to engage in Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

Formación

• Experience with functional and automated testing of microservices, APIs and front-end applications.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join one of our clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our digital platforms by actively participating in the full development lifecycle – from solution definition to functional and automated testing of microservices, APIs and front-end applications.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in solution definition, design reviews and testing phases
• Collaborate in the execution of agile product development (Scrum / Kanban)
• Design, develop and execute functional and technical test cases
• Perform testing of microservices, REST APIs and front-end applications
• Contribute to and maintain automated test suites
• Participate in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices
• Integrate tests into CI / CD pipelines
• Report defects, track quality metrics and work closely with developers and product owner

Requirements:

• Agile Methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
• User level knowledge JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Teams tools
• Testing Management: ALM tool
• Testing tools: SOAP, Postman, Jmeter
• Knowledge in Java
• Experience with Selenium
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
• Highly fluent in English: both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in Karate framework
• Knowledge in Playwright
• Knowledge in Python
• Knowledge in Cucumber
