A digital and technology talent consultancy is hiring an experienced IT Program Manager with Manufacturing experience for a long-term B2B contract. This remote role involves overseeing global OT Cyber Security programs across Manufacturing and Supply Chain plants. Ideal candidates will have a solid technical background in Manufacturing, experience managing global technical programs, and good understanding of Cyber Security. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with additional languages being a plus.

IT Program manager with Manufacturing experience (IT/OT beneficial) | B2B Contract | Remote with some international travel expected.

SixteenFifty is a specialist digital and technology talent consultancy representing a global organisation undergoing a large‑scale, multi‑year digital transformation.

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Program manager with Manufacturing experience to be responsible to overseeing the global programme for OT Cyber Security of their Manufacturing and Supply Chain plants across Europe and LATAM. This candidate will be overseeing the whole programme for the business and running the roadmap for OT infrastructure, the Cyber Security of these globally within the Manufacturing Plants. The company have 50 brands under their global remit and are constantly adding strong brands to their umbrella so this is a really exciting role for the right Programme Manager.

This is a long-term B2B contract opportunity (12 month rolling)

The Manufacturing Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the global Technology teams within the Plant, Cyber Security, Infrastructure & Operations plus the Global Supply Chain Team to drive the OT (Operation Technology) programmes across the Plants.
  • They will be responsible for running the Programme Strategy accordingly including resources, timelines and budgeting globally.
  • They will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Technical Solutions regarding the OT technology within the Manufacturing Plants from a senior leadership perspective.
  • Vendor management will be a key part of the position as will be engaging with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of programmes internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • They will be a Seasoned Programme Manager who ideally comes from a Technical background within Manufacturing and Supply Chain and has OT Technology experience within Manufacturing or with an understanding of Plant Systems; elements like MES/MRP would also be of interest as would the digitalisation of Manufacturing processes.
  • Experience managing technical programmes within plants across global teams leading them to achieve the Technical strategy for the Business across OT and Cyber Security would be extremely beneficial.
  • Good understanding of Cyber Security practices, principles and technologies, Network Infrastructure, Operational Technology and IAM (Identity & Access Management) is beneficial to this role but not all elements are essential.
  • Proven track record of managing Enterprise level, multi-vendor programmes and stakeholders in global environments.
  • Experience in Operational Technology (OT) security is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Project Management tools and methodologies
  • Full proficiency in English is mandatory, with Spanish, Portuguese or French a nice to have.
