As the Microsoft Azure Business Manager, your role is to take full ownership of the Microsoft Azure business within the Cloud Iberia team, including Profit & Loss (P&L), commercial strategy, and business development. This role involves working directly with Microsoft and customers to drive growth, while collaborating across internal teams to ensure best-in-class systems, processes, and execution.
Execute the business strategy for Microsoft Azure in alignment with organizational goals to grow profitable market share.
Lead pricing and profitability strategies in collaboration with Finance and Business Optimization teams, ensuring competitive positioning and margin improvement.
Drive sales and adoption of Microsoft Azure solutions, including identifying new opportunities and onboarding new customers.
Manage the full vendor lifecycle: product creation, system accuracy, contract management, and adoption.
Build and maintain strong commercial and sales relationships with Microsoft and key customer stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure consistent use of CRM tools for accurate forecasting and business continuity.
Own quarterly business planning with Microsoft and ensure successful execution.
Support and develop team members, including Assistant Category Managers (ACMs) and Business Development Executives (BDEs).
IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, and Competition.
Experience in Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Security & Compliance, etc.).
Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud technologies, ideally with hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure solutions.
Excellent communication skills in English (full professional proficiency required).
Highly numerate with strong commercial acumen.
Skilled in building multi‑level relationships and influencing stakeholders.
Strong time management and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Analytical mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
High energy, motivation, and ability to work within a matrix structure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strategic planning and business case development experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.
