A leading tech consulting company is seeking a highly skilled Martech Technical Analyst in Madrid. This role involves designing and implementing digital analytics solutions, managing tag management systems, and ensuring data quality across platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, expertise in data layer design, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position requires hands-on experience with tools like Google Tag Manager and Adobe Analytics.
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Martech Technical Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in digital analytics configuration and implementation, with proven expertise in data layer design, tag management systems, and enterprise analytics platforms. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of translating business and measurement requirements into accurate technical implementations, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability across the digital analytics ecosystem through hands‑on execution and close collaboration with development and marketing teams.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and well‑structured data layers aligned with business, marketing, and analytics requirements.
Configure and manage tracking implementations using tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager (GTM), Tealium iQ, and Adobe Data Collection.
Implement and maintain digital analytics platforms including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Adobe Analytics, ensuring accurate event‑based measurement.
Translate functional and business requirements into detailed technical tracking specifications and implementation documentation.
Collaborate closely with development, product, marketing, and data teams to ensure correct deployment of analytics solutions across web and mobile environments.
Validate, debug, and troubleshoot tracking implementations using browser developer tools, network inspection, and platform‑specific debuggers.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across analytics implementations.
Support analytics governance processes, including version control, change management, and documentation.
Stay current with analytics platform updates, industry best practices, and emerging measurement technologies.
Strong technical knowledge of digital analytics implementation frameworks and event‑based tracking models.
Hands‑on experience with data layer architecture and implementation.
Experience working with Tag Managers as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Data Collection (Launch) and/or Tealium Tag Management.
Solid experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and/or Adobe Analytics.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Preparation of technical documentation for implementation, labeling, and tool integration
Experience with web and mobile app analytics implementations.
Knowledge of consent management platforms (CMPs) and privacy regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy).
Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or marketing automation tools.
Experience working in agile or scrum‑based delivery models.
Previous exposure to analytics QA processes or data validation frameworks.
High level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
2+ years of experience in digital analytics implementation, technical analytics, or MarTech‑related roles.
