Melza Recruiting is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist on behalf of our client, a global company driving large-scale digital transformation.
The role
This is a hands-on position at the intersection of marketing technology, customer engagement, and data-driven strategies.
The main mission is to design and optimize customer journeys, flows, and campaigns across European retail pharmacy brands, ensuring measurable impact on loyalty, engagement, and commercial performance.
The role combines marketing expertise, technical curiosity, and international stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with CRM, Product, Data, Marketing, and IT teams, gradually evolving into a trusted expert in marketing automation within a newly built product team.
Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and manage customer journeys, flows, and campaigns across multiple European brands.
- Leverage marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to drive customer engagement and retention.
- Analyze marketing KPIs and translate customer data into actionable insights for targeted campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaigns with business goals.
- Manage international stakeholders, balancing priorities and building strong relationships.
- Support the evaluation and evolution of loyalty platforms and digital customer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Marketing professional with technical curiosity and ability to work with automation flows and customer data.
- Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals: KPIs, best practices, and customer lifecycle.
- Commercial mindset with focus on measurable business impact.
- Experience with CRM platforms in a B2C environment is valued.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (other European languages are a plus).
- Based in or willing to commute to Barcelona two days per week.

- Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
