A leading technical recruitment agency is seeking a Laboratory Technician to contribute to routine testing and analysis in a laboratory setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing samples, recording results, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position requires strong attention to detail and collaboration with technical teams, working in a structured environment from Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm.

Formación

• Experience in laboratory testing and analysis.
• Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine laboratory testing and analysis.
• Prepare, label, and manage samples accurately.
• Record, analyse, and report test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.

Laboratory Technician

Mon-Fri 12pm-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine laboratory testing and analysis in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare, label, and manage samples accurately and efficiently
• Record, analyse, and report test results using laboratory information systems and spreadsheets
• Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Prepare reagents, standards, and solutions as required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation in line with good laboratory practice (GLP)
• Support internal audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with investigations of non-conforming results and corrective actions
• Work collaboratively with laboratory colleagues and technical teams
