A leading global payroll and HR platform is seeking an Employment Law Assistant in Málaga, Spain. You will advise clients on employment laws, draft agreements, and ensure compliance with local regulations. Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of experience, specialized knowledge of Spanish employment law, and be fluent in English and Spanish. Responsibilities

Employment Law Assistance and Compliance

You will work closely with the customer success team to advise clients on employment laws and regulations, draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, and ensure compliance with local laws. You will counsel local management and HR on issues such as recruiting, hiring, employee relations, discipline, terminations, European working time compliance, investigations, leaves of absence, discrimination, harassment, contingent workers, compensation, benefits, bonuses, equity, employment litigation, and negotiated exits.

In-House Development

You will help develop and implement processes for efficient contract negotiation and operations. You will also create and maintain training materials, playbooks, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience (in-house experience not required).
  • Specialist knowledge of Spanish employment law.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
  • Proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Your CV must be submitted in English.
