is accredited to carry out cybersecurity evaluations on products under multiple evaluation schemes.

We help suppliers around the world with cybersecurity evaluations in sectors such as payment, identification, network equipment, mobile, automotive, and industrial systems, among others.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager located in Madrid to manage evaluations of cybersecurity products under the Esquema Nacional Español de Certificación.

About the Position

As a Junior IT Project Manager in Applus+ Laboratories, you will be involved in a wide variety of technical projects, from evaluations following guideline‑established methodologies to customized ad‑hoc evaluations for our clients or contributing to internal R&D projects for new attack techniques, tools, and automations.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Managing project milestones, planning, and on‑time delivery.
• Budget and Financial Management: Managing project budget and financials.
• Risk Management: Managing project risks and defining / implementing countermeasures when required.
• Client Satisfaction: Ensuring client satisfaction and managing client expectations.
• Recurrent‑Selling: Obtaining and managing recurrent sales of your appointed clients.

Requirements

• Education: Technical Engineering and PMP or equivalent Project management Certifications.
• 1-3 years of experience in similar position.
• Languages: Advanced English and Spanish.
• Technical Background: It is a plus to have any technical background related to software engineering, hardware engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or similar.
• Customer Orientation: Customer orientation and people skills. Ability to build long‑term professional and collaborative relationships with the internal operations team and clients. Ability to manage client expectations.
• Organizational Skills: Organized, methodical, and structured thinking.
• Teamwork: Team player.
