About the Role:
As a Grid Connections engineer, you will support our Grid Connections Team. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the project development connection process in the markets assigned by the Global Grid Manager.
We seek a dynamic and proactive individual capable of adapting and working in a results-oriented environment.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Review of administrative project documentation for obtaining grid access permits (technical and administrative requirements, reports, drawings, specifications, budgets, etc.).
- Conduct site visits and perform technical evaluations of potential locations.
- Analyze and propose designs and configurations for electrical lines and substations.
- Evaluate shared grid connection infrastructure.
- Procure preliminary studies and engineering services from external firms.
- Analyze technical documentation from suppliers and contractors.
- Participate in manufacturing follow-up visits and attend FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests).
- Supervise and approve technical purchase specifications.
- Prepare bidding engineering documentation for grid connection infrastructure.
- Develop documentation for BOS and/or EPC construction tenders.
- Review and compare offers from suppliers and contractors.
- Develop Quality Procedures for construction, testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
- Conduct site visits for technical assistance and construction inspection.
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience with central solar inverters; experience in substation and/or high voltage line maintenance is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
