A leading technology firm in Madrid is searching for an IT Support Technician to provide both local and remote technical support. Candidates should have experience in hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting in various environments. The role requires good communication skills and a proactive attitude, as well as a very good level of English or bilingual capability in Spanish/French. The position offers a permanent contract, competitive salary, vacation days, and private medical insurance.

Formación

We are looking for an IT Support Technician with skills in maintenance and administration of computer systems networks, and security. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work well in a team, providing technical support.

You will be providing local Helpdesk support in Madrid. Functionally attached to our head office in Paris, you will benefit from their support regarding training and the implementation of process and tools

What are the main responsibilities?
  • Hardware and software maintenance in Windows and MacOS environments.
  • Network debugging.
  • Diagnosis and repair of devices and peripherals.
  • On-site and remote support for issue resolution.
  • Documentation and organization of the technology assets.
  • Advising on the purchase and renewal of technological equipment.
What are the requirements?
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support roles.
  • Education in Computer Science, Systems, Networks, or equivalent experience.
  • Good experience in troubleshooting IT incidents and hardware.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Very good level of English (C1) or bilingual Spanish / French.
  • Experience with a ticketing system like FreshDesk, Zendesk or ServiceNow would be appreciated.
