About the role

As an IT Application Engineer in the SAP BI, you will have the opportunity to manage, develop, and support the IT services provided for Sanoma Learning SAP BI function. You will collaborate closely with the Business Analyst and Process Managers, your colleagues in Sanoma IT, and our support vendors. Your responsibilities will include analysing business requirements, development, incident management and delivering the service with the help of selected vendors. This position can be located in any of the Sanoma Learning offices.

Who are you

You are an experienced SAP Business warehouse, Datasphere, SAC analyst/developer with a solid track record working with IT Services. You are flexible, open-minded, service oriented with good communication and interaction skills. Hands‑on experience with SAP application / system development is essential for success in this role.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of application and integration security and privacy concepts
• Good communication and social skills, with ability to adjust your message to the audience
• Ability to work in virtual and international teams
• A team player taking initiative
• A proactive mindset focused on continuous learning and the enhancement of processes and applications

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in relevant IT positions, preferably in configuration and incident management operations in a large‑scale environment
• Good understanding of data modelling
• Knowledge of SAP products, S/4Hana public cloud, Business Warehouse, Datasphere and SAC.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, as well as the local language in your country of residence
