A leading European learning company located in Madrid is seeking an IT Application Engineer in SAP BI. The candidate will manage and develop IT services for SAP BI, collaborating closely with analysts and process managers. Ideal candidates will have a background in IT with at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in SAP Business Warehouse and incident management. As an IT Application Engineer in the SAP BI, you will have the opportunity to manage, develop, and support the IT services provided for Sanoma Learning SAP BI function. You will collaborate closely with the Business Analyst and Process Managers, your colleagues in Sanoma IT, and our support vendors. Your responsibilities will include analysing business requirements, development, incident management and delivering the service with the help of selected vendors. You are an experienced SAP Business warehouse, Datasphere, SAC analyst / developer with a solid track record working with IT Services. Hands‑on experience with SAP application / system development is essential for success in this role.

Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience

At least 3 years of experience in relevant IT positions, preferably in configuration and incident management operations in a large‑scale environment

Good understanding of data modelling

Knowledge of SAP products, S / 4Hana public cloud, Business Warehouse, Datasphere and SAC.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal, as well as the local language in your country of residence
