A leading food company in Noblejas, Spain, is looking for a Human Resources professional to manage payroll and personnel administration. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in Spanish payroll along with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. The role involves ensuring timely payroll submissions, handling employee queries, and preparing reports. A detail-oriented candidate with strong analytical skills is preferred.

Overview

Job Category: Human Resources • Job Family: HR • Job Description:

  • Ensure the timely submission of all monthly schedules and payroll cycle and work with finance to ensure timely monthly payment cycle.
  • Prepare reports and analyses for management as requested.
  • Data processing and document management from HR for all payroll input – starters, leavers, changes onto the HR Systems.
  • Act as an expert for all employee queries relating to payroll, benefits. Respond to inquiries related to payroll earnings, deductions and tax withholding.
  • Support in personnel administration activities, including drafting contracts and letters, collecting and archiving documents, updating internal files and tools.
  • 111 / 190 & 216 / 296 Tax submission, and knowledge about tax certificates
  • Processing L03 Social Security supplementary settlements
  • Benefits management, processing, payments and reporting: life and health insurance, pensions, etc.
  • Processing of leaves types, running calculations, capture onto HR and payroll system.
  • Staff time and attendance management, supervision and correction (TEMPO)
  • Processing bonus and commission payments, conducts checks and ensures correct processing.
  • Assist in the processing of annual salary increases / bonuses / payments
  • Prepare settlements, and calculations related to Labour Relationship terminations
Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Labor Relations, Business Administration, Finance or HR related field
  • 3 years of experience in Spanish payroll and personnel administration
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience with Gross Up calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: MS Word, MS Excel
  • Knowledge and handling of tools corresponding to personnel management and administration (time and attendance programmes, Payroll programmes and Employee portals)
  • Experience and knowledge in Sistema Red, SILTRA, Contra@, Certific@ and Tax Agency’s help programmes
  • Excellent accounting knowledge
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous and strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with people; able to handle multiple sensitive issues with different employees
  • Knowledge with CASIA and other Social Security tools
