A global concierge service for sailing yachts is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance department. The ideal candidate will be a native Russian speaker with over 5 years of finance experience, particularly in startups. Responsibilities include managing financial processes, developing models for investment decisions, and providing financial advisory to top management. This role offers a hybrid work format and a unique annual yacht trip with the team.

SEARADAR is a global concierge service for sailing yachts, serving sailors across Europe and the UK. We love the sea, freedom, and our clients. Our headquarters are in Portugal, and our team works remotely from different parts of the world. We are growing rapidly and are now looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s finance function and help us reach the next level.

Tasks

1. Building and managing the company’s financial processes in line with business needs, such as financial planning, budgeting, business request evaluation, monthly reviews, and reporting.
2. Developing financial models and scenario planning tools to support investment decisions and long-term forecasting.
3. Calculating ROI for new products.
4. Responsibility for P&L management.
5. Supporting fundraising processes: venture financing as well as bank loans.
6. Providing financial advisory to top management: identifying cost optimization opportunities, developing revenue growth strategies, forecasting, and optimizing financial processes. Overseeing payments, prioritizing cash flows, and managing accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Native Russian language
• 5+ years of experience in finance
• Experience working in startups
• Willingness to take responsibility in a dynamic environment
• Strong skills in financial modeling and valuation (including IRR, leverage ratios), with great attention to detail
• Experience interacting with investors, creditors, and external advisors
• Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way
