Formación

• Vocational education or degree in electrical power systems.
• Practical experience in Low Voltage (up to 1KV AC and 1,5KV DC).
• Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish.

A new opportunity awaits you in Kongsberg Maritime as Field Service Engineer in Integration & Energy in Spain. In this role you will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining KONGSBERG’s Energy products and systems aboard ships and in shipyards. Additionally, you will provide in-house technical support and remote services to customers and colleagues globally. Our Energy product range includes systems such as AC Switchgear, Drives, Electric Hybrid propulsion, Energy Storage Systems and Power Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, maintenance and upgrades of the Energy products ensuring quality standards.
• Provide technical support to our customers in the field.
• Diagnose technical problems and provide effective solutions to our customers.
• Produce technical site reports.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external international stakeholders, ensuring the success of our operations and satisfaction of our customers.

Qualifications and experience

• Vocational education or degree in electrical power systems.
• Practical experience in Low Voltage (up to 1KV AC and 1,5KV DC). Medium or High Voltage experience would be beneficial.
• Good understanding of marine systems.
• Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish.
• Availability to travel around 160 non consecutive days.
