About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Expedite Software Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. This role is critical in addressing high-priority issues, quickly resolving software problems, and ensuring the seamless functioning of our systems. As an Expedite Engineer, you will balance rapid response with maintaining high-quality solutions, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Rapid Issue Resolution: Triage, investigate, and resolve urgent software issues with minimal downtime.
2. Root Cause Analysis: Identify underlying causes of problems and implement sustainable solutions.
3. Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve system performance under tight deadlines.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with support teams, developers, and stakeholders to address escalated issues effectively.
5. Bug Fixing: Provide immediate fixes for critical bugs while ensuring long-term stability through future-proof solutions.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of fixes, issue resolutions, and system changes to improve future response times.
7. Preventative Measures: Proactively identify potential risks and implement measures to prevent future issues.

Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in incident management processes and tools.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in software engineering.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Technical Expertise:

• Knowledge in Java,
• Experience with debugging tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with incident management systems and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, PagerDuty).
• Knowledge in database systems (mySQL)
• Familiarity with cache systems (Redis, Memcached)

Understanding of microservices architecture and API integrations.
