A growing automotive company in Spain seeks an experienced Electronics Buyer to define purchasing strategies, drive NPI activities, and lead vendor negotiations. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience sourcing electronic components, strong knowledge of global EMS suppliers, and the ability to travel up to 20%. This role offers a chance to shape supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of sourcing electronic components and assemblies in high volumes.
• Strong knowledge of EMS and component suppliers globally.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsabilidades

We're supporting an exciting and growing automotive company based in Spain who are looking for an experienced Electronics Buyer, ideally with a depth of experience purchasing PCB/A and components.

Role:

• Define a purchasing strategy within your area of the commodity
• Drive NPI activities with EMS and component manufacturers
• Responsible for RFI/P/Q processes and vendor selection
• Lead all negotiations related to your commodity
• Maintain benchmarking data and high levels of market research
• Manage supplier crisis situations and own the responsibility for a stable supply of parts coming in
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of sourcing electronic components and assemblies in high volumes
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Strong knowledge of EMS and component suppliers globally
• Engineering or Business degree (Preferred)
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• The unrestricted right to work in the EU
