We are looking for an Electrical or Industrial Engineer to work in Madrid for a leading water treatment engineering company.

Our client is a market-leading provider of innovative and sustainable water treatment solutions, operating across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. They specialise in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-performance systems for key sectors such as Data Centres, Pharma, Power, and Industrial.

Headquartered in Bray, Co. Wicklow, with a satellite office in Naas, Co. Kildare, the company also has operational hubs in Spain, Sweden, Italy, and the UK — and is expanding further into Finland, Denmark, and Germany.

Driven by a strong focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) for delivering turnkey projects, the group is experiencing rapid growth. Their approach minimises on-site build time while maximising safety, reliability, and environmental sustainability.

Role:

Due to continued expansion, the successful candidate will support the delivery of key projects, contributing to the design, planning, and implementation of advanced water treatment systems. This role offers excellent potential for professional development within a dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in industrial projects , especially in sectors such as Oil & Gas (Upstream/Downstream), energy or water treatment .
  • Knowledge of applicable international standards (IEC, UL, NFPA).
  • Experience in FEED phases and detailed engineering.
  • Minimum level of English B2 (essential for technical documentation and international environments).
  • Handling of CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN P8.
  • Experience with documentation of instrumentation equipment connections such as: Control valves, On-Off valves, self-regulating valves. Level, differential pressure, radar, magnetic elements. Flow meters: Vortex, Coriolis, ultrasound, magnetic, positive displacement type. Temperature meters: thermometers, RTDs, multimeters, thermocouples. Pressure, differential pressure, flow and temperature transmitters.
  • Availability to relocate to Madrid.
