We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our Business Unit in the Spanish office in Almazora (Castellón).

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and define electrical specifications and calculations to ensure optimal and compliant electrical design for new and existing projects.
  • Select electrical components considering cost-efficiency, quality standards, sustainability, and performance to meet project and company objectives.
  • Design and review electrical schematics and 3D cabinet layouts, ensuring accuracy, maintainability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Supply Chain team to identify innovative materials, evaluate new suppliers, and enhance procurement workflows.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to define and build prototypes, validate designs, and drive continuous improvement in production processes.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts, actively participating in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and testing new technologies or design concepts.
  • Support the standardization and documentation of best practices, electrical design guidelines, and internal procedures.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies, and proactively propose improvements or new approaches.
  • Collaborate with the Service Engineering team to provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems in the field, ensuring proper implementation of the designs and assisting in troubleshooting when required.
Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 3 to 4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably related to industrial machinery or automation systems.
  • Proficient in English (intermediate level or above), with the ability to:
    • Understand technical datasheets and international documentation.
    • Write professional emails and participate in technical conversations.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical design software:
    • EPLAN
    • Solidworks Electrical
  • Proven experience in designing and developing electrical panels and boards for industrial applications.
  • Understanding and handling of international electrical standards. Familiarity with UL508A and NFPA79 is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working with and managing technical documentation, including:
    • Electrical schematics, BOMs, layout drawings, specifications for outsourcing, and component listings.
    • Experience preparing and filling out electrical specifications for outsourced manufacturing and design projects.
  • Experience in PCBA design valuable.
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
