Role

We are actively seeking a Customer Architect with an understanding of technology and hands-on experience in key IT domains, notably Observability, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Search. A strong technical background, preferably with experience in cloud-based software solutions, is preferred. This role focuses on driving adoption of Elastic solutions, onboarding customers, enabling consumption, and facilitating expansion.

You will act as a Trusted Technical Advisor, collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams (Field and Services) to ensure Elastic solutions meet customer expectations and deliver value. You will define technical success criteria and craft Technical Success Plans tailored to customer goals and metrics, outlining consumption and deployment steps and aligning outcomes with business objectives.

Your work enables smooth adoption, sustained usage, and increased consumption of Elastic solutions, with the aim of growing annual recurring revenue (ARR). The role requires a hands-on technical authority and proactive engagement with customers’ technical environments.

What Will You Be Doing
  • Collaborate with the account team (Account Executive and Solutions Architect) to provide ongoing technical coverage while the team identifies new deals.
  • Define the Technical Success Plan for each customer to achieve business objectives through Elastic solutions.
  • Guide the customer journey from onboarding to adoption and ongoing consumption.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align it with customer goals.
  • Identify and remove technical frictions to enable smoother adoption and implementation.
  • Coordinate with support to ensure an optimized resolution experience that supports adoption.
  • Partner with the Service Team to deliver personalized solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Translate customer business needs into technical requirements for Elastic solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and, when appropriate, hand off to the account team to grow ARR.
  • Foster ongoing customer relationships to increase usage and value of Elastic solutions.
  • Periodically review customer consumption and propose upgrades or enhancements to increase value.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (highly preferred).
  • Fluency in German is required for this role.
  • Validated experience in a similar role (Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer) with hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with one or more Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or the Elastic stack and ability to align them with business objectives is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
