A leading staffing agency is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to support microelectronics activities in Madrid. The role requires deep electronic hardware knowledge, SMD and conventional welding expertise, and at least 5 years of experience in a microelectronics laboratory. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and English proficiency at B1 or B2 level. This position offers hybrid work arrangements and a supportive environment for continuous development.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities

Advanced microelectronics technician or Engineer to support microelectronics activities of the power conversion unit in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid). Requires deep electronic HW knowledge and general knowledge of electronic manufacturing process.

Prepare and maintain test setups on electronics laboratory,

Electronic HW testing.

Maintenance of microelectronics manufacturing test benches.

Analise electrical scheme of electronic boards for defects and improvements.

Electronic components selection.

SMD and conventional welding expertise.

Modify existing designs to meet new requirements or integrate alternative components and create design and manufacturing documentation using Altium.

Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for multiple product configurations using Altium and Windchill PLM.

Qualifications for the

Electronics or telecommunication Engineering, Technician Studies, or equivalent.

At least 5 years’ experience in microelectronics support within a microelectronics laboratory.

English level B1 or B2

We are looking for an individual who is methodical, detail-oriented, and able to interact effectively with both internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate should be confident in navigating challenging situations, differing perspectives, or issues that arise throughout projects. We value a self-motivated person who can stay organized and focused on continuous improvement. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly and effectively share important information.

We will also value positively any additional knowledge or expertise in the following areas : Electronic Instrumentation (such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators), basics of digital hardware design (including understanding electrical diagrams), digital signal processing, and basic knowledge of power electronic converters and electrical machines (this is a plus)
