A TravelTech startup is seeking a Co-Founder and CTO to lead technology initiatives. You will be responsible for improving the MVP, architecting the V1 product, and co-leading fundraising efforts. Ideal candidates have experience with B2C platforms, strong backend skills and a passion for AI-driven solutions. This is an equity position with the chance to significantly shape the startup's future in a flexible, remote-first environment.

Formación

• Strong capabilities in full-stack or backend development.

About SplitStay

SplitStay is an early-stage traveltech marketplace helping solo travelers match and share hotel rooms, cutting costs while filling empty hotel beds.

Think BlaBlaCar meets Booking.com, for a post-Airbnb world.

We're unlocking a new consumer behavior using existing hotel infrastructure — building a community-driven solution for the solo travel wave.
The tech behind SplitStay leverages AI-powered matchmaking and decision-making, helping users find optimal co-travelers while enabling hotels to tap underutilized demand patterns.

Currently part of the ESADE eWorks Accelerator, we’re gaining momentum and have strong interest from both users and investors. Our prototype is up, our vision is clear — now we’re looking for the right technical mind to join the founding team.

Your Role

As Co-Founder and CTO, you'll lead all things tech: from product architecture and MVP improvements to long-term platform scaling. You’ll help shape the future of how solo travelers book, connect, and stay.

What You’ll Do

• Own and improve the current MVP (built in Replit / low-code — ready for rebuild or scale)
• Architect and build the V1 product (web + mobile)
• Co-lead fundraising conversations with a strong technical voice
• Recruit and manage future tech team or freelancers
• Collaborate on product strategy, UX, and technical vision

What We’re Looking For

• Experience building and scaling B2C platforms (bonus: marketplace or TravelTech)
• Strong full-stack or backend expertise (e.g., React, Node.js, Firebase, Next.js, Flutter, etc.)
• Interest or experience in AI, automation, or matchmaking algorithms
• Entrepreneurial mindset — you want to build something meaningful from the ground up
• Bonus: Previous startup, accelerator, or co‑founder experience
