You’ll bring practical DevOps skills, an operations-first mindset, and working experience with MongoDB to help us deliver a secure, reliable, and cost-efficient platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day AWS operations (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC).
  • Perform lifecycle management tasks such as patching, scaling, and backups.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and on‑call rotations.
  • Operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Improve deployment reliability through automation and scripting.
  • Support engineering teams in deploying services and environments.
  • Monitor cloud usage and support cost‑optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for savings (e.g., right‑sizing, compute migrations, storage tiering).
  • Partner with senior engineers to report and track cost efficiency.
  • Operate and monitor MongoDB / RDS Aurora clusters (performance, backups, scaling).
  • Troubleshoot database issues in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Support integration of MongoDB and/or RDS Aurora with application workloads.
  • Configure monitoring and alerting with Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Contribute to incident detection and response playbooks.
  • Help define operational runbooks and dashboards.
  • Follow IAM security practices and apply least‑privilege policies.
  • Support patching, logging, and compliance tasks (SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA).
  • Work with security engineers to maintain audit readiness.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles.
  • Solid operational knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Hands‑on experience with MongoDB/RDS Aurora in production environments.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Operations‑first mindset: enjoys ensuring systems run smoothly and reliably.
  • Detail‑oriented: diligent in monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting.
  • Collaborative: works well with global teams and cross‑functional partners.
  • Growth mindset: eager to learn new technologies and grow into senior roles.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Kubernetes operations (Amazon EKS).
  • AWS cost‑management tools and FinOps practices.
  • Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka).
  • Exposure to healthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
