B2B Sales Executive

will be responsible for driving growth in italki’s corporate language training business

  • This role involves managing inbound inquiries, identifying and pursuing new B2B opportunities, and maintaining long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication and consultative sales skills, comfortable with both cold outreach and strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Sales Development

Handle incoming corporate training inquiries and provide tailored solutions based on client needs.

Conduct outbound (cold) prospecting to generate new B2B leads.

Develop proposals, quotations, and customized training plans for corporate clients.

Manage the full sales cycle — from lead qualification to closing deals.

2. Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate accounts.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent post-sale support and customer satisfaction.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.

3. Product & Market Feedback

Collaborate with the Product and Operations teams to provide feedback from clients and market trends.

Suggest improvements in training solutions, pricing models, and user experience.

Stay updated on competitors and market developments to inform strategy.

4. Reporting & Analysis

Track sales activities and maintain accurate CRM records.

Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.

Qualifications
  • ~ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • ~2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development (preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or training services).
  • ~ Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • ~ Proven experience in managing the full sales cycle and achieving sales targets.
  • ~ Comfortable with cold outreach and lead generation.
Plus
  • Experience working with HR, L&D, or corporate training departments.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Passion for languages with language skills, in addition to English.
  • Experience in companies with global / regional presence with multiple offices.
