A leading global logistics provider in Barcelona is seeking a dedicated Operations Specialist. You will manage incoming requests and coordinate operations in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in both Italian and English is essential, alongside experience in IT and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and proficiency in MS Office and CMMS systems. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to and triage incoming work requests within standard service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Manage remote works from start to end including work order/purchase order raising and receipting
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders (Reliability Maintenance Engineering Ops H&S etc.)
  • Provide updates on vendor status take the lead on coordinating works during an escalation
  • Identify and elevate critical issues through appropriate channels to maintain equipment reliability and minimize operational impact
  • Monitor respond to and manage refrigeration alarm systems ensuring timely response to critical alerts
  • Manage and prioritize work queues based on urgency and SLA requirements
Qualifications
  • Speak, write and read fluently in Italian
  • Speak, write and read fluently in English
  • Experience in a 24/7 environment
  • Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
  • Experience in an IT/Operations/Call/Command Center work environment
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of emergency dispatching and executive reply procedures
  • High-level customer service skills demonstrated by previous work history
  • Excellent grasp of MS Office Suite and programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InfoPath, SharePoint, etc.
  • Proficient in CMMS systems (Infor EAM, Maximo, etc.)
  • Experience of contractor management
  • Experience with building maintenance systems including mechanical (HVAC, refrigeration, conveyors) and soft services (cleaning, waste, pest control)
