A leading technology solutions provider in Madrid is seeking a technically trained and commercially experienced Junior Sales Assistant. The successful candidate will manage and expand client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with the technical team to provide customized solutions. Requirements include a degree in engineering, 2-3 years of commercial experience, and fluency in Spanish and English. This role offers opportunities for travel across Spain and Portugal.

Formación

We are seeking a technically trained and commercially experienced Junior Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with our technical team to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow the client portfolio across Iberia (Spain and Portugal)
  • Prepare commercial proposals and follow up on orders
  • Support the preparation of client meetings and presentations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Representing the company at industry fairs and events
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Logistics, Engineering, Marketing)

Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering preferred (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial roles or as a sales assistant
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (additional Portuguese languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to travel

  • Experience managing documentation : contracts, orders, certificates, tenders
  • Ability to prepare compelling commercial proposals
  • Familiarity with delivery tracking, claims handling, and logistics coordination (preferred)
