We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager Southern Europe (m / f / d) Italy / Spain / Portugal to fill a permanent position. You work from home, preferably in Catalonia. The successful candidate will have several years of experience in technical sales and B2B technical consulting for products requiring explanation (OEM and trade).

Tasks
  • You will be responsible for technical B2B sales of products requiring explanation in the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese markets.
  • You will look after existing customers, provide them with technical advice and further develop relationships.
  • You will have a clear focus on structured new customer acquisition in order to leverage the remaining large market potential.
  • You will compile and evaluate market and competition information and work closely with the internal sales team, who will assist you in preparing quotations.
  • You will document your successes in the modern CRM system and report directly to the sales manager.
Profile
  • You have completed technical or commercial training or have a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of proven professional experience in sales in the automotive, mechanical engineering and plant construction sectors.
  • You have a high level of technical and commercial understanding.
  • As a dynamic and intrinsically motivated person, you act strategically, in a structured manner and enjoy sales.
  • You impress with your excellent communication skills, independent working style, negotiating skills and willingness to travel within the sales area you are responsible for.
  • You have a good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office, as well as fluent language skills in Spanish, Italian and English.
