A leading company in the bakery sector, located in Santa Perpétua de Mogoda, Catalonia, is seeking a National Area Sales Manager. Responsibilities include managing a client portfolio, planning and conducting client visits, analyzing market data, and providing outstanding customer support. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of B2B sales experience, a university degree in commercial management or international trade, and fluency in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish and French valued.

Formación

At Mur&Partners, we are offering a National Area Sales Manager position for a leading company in the bakery sector, located in Santa Perpétua de Mogoda, Catalonia, Spain.

About the Job

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the mission of this position will be to manage and maintain the existing client portfolio, ensuring its development at an international level in Central and Eastern Europe, while identifying new business opportunities.

  • Plan and conduct visits to current and potential clients, ensuring that all actions taken are aligned with the objectives set by the Commercial Director.
  • Analyze the market and gather information on new clients and competitors, including details on products, pricing, and margins.
  • Gather information regarding client requirements, upcoming expansion or investment projects, new product launches, and key senior management contacts.
  • Ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of all information, actions, intentions, visits, and calls within the company´s IT system.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Technical Office to draft and oversee clients offers.
  • Support sample management by monitoring results to ensure order acquisition, including the implementation of new systems and onboarding of new clients.
  • Guide clients through the implementation of projects involving changes to their production lines, such as the introduction of new molds or modifications to existing molds due to new machinery.
  • Deliver outstanding customer support, addressing and resolving issues and claims efficiently.
  • Represent the company at industry fairs and events to promote commercial activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience in similar roles. B2B experience in the industrial sector is highly desirable.
  • A university degree in commercial management and/or international trade is strongly preferred.
  • Fluent english is a must. Proficiency in Spanish and French is valued.
