A leading company is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in SAP Development to create and optimize solutions in the SAP S/4HANA environment. The role involves extensive collaboration with technical teams and requires proven knowledge in ABAP, Fiori, and SAP development standards. The Subject Matter Expert SAP Development is responsible for developing individual solutions for the new SAP S/4HANA environment using the SAP development platform. The development process includes reviewing requirements, creating solution concepts, development, testing, and documentation of solutions. The SME ensures high quality in the developed solutions.

The SME consults the Solution Architect as a technical expert to develop solutions for business requirements.

Main Accountabilities

1. Review requirements and create solution concepts.
2. Develop, test, and document solutions.
3. Use SAP ABAP development platform (e.g., SAP Workbench ABAP) and standards (e.g., User Exits or BAPIs) for development activities.
4. Utilize new SAP development tools like Eclipse and SAP Business Application Studio.
5. Develop or modify Fiori Apps, Reports, CDS views, and interfaces (SAP part).
6. Perform ATC checks to ensure a Clean-Core-Strategy for external developments.
7. Ensure high quality in the developed solutions.
8. Consult with the Solution Architect as a technical expert.
9. Support training of 2 in-house SAP consultants in CDS Views and Fiori.
10. Provide 2nd level support for Enterprise Applications.
11. Participate in Projects
12. Take responsibility for the Clean-Core Strategy of all developments in the SAP RISE project (private Cloud).

Your profile

Training / Education :

• Proven expertise in ABAP.
• Proven expertise in Fiori and CDS view development.
• Knowledge of Development Tools of SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA structure.
• Knowledge of Extensibility Options in S/4HANA and Clean-Core Strategy.

Professional Experience :

• 5 years of practical professional experience in SAP.
