A leading aerospace company in Spain is seeking a Technical Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM). You will work closely with design engineers and must have 3 to 5 years of experience in the Technical Data domain, particularly in AMM authoring. The role requires flexibility, advanced English skills, and proficiency in ATA specifications, SAP, and Windchill. This is a permanent position within a diverse and inclusive workplace.

As a Technical Data Engineer, you are not just writing manuals; you are the Guardian of Safety. You bridge the gap between complex engineering design and the mechanic on the tarmac, ensuring that every maintenance procedure is executable, compliant, and safe. Your documentation is the final authority before a rotor turns.
To develop, deliver, and maintain the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) throughout the aircraft life cycle, ensuring the fleet remains airworthy and operationally efficient. You will act as the critical interface between the Design Office and the Customer, analysing engineering data to create precise compliant maintenance instructions.
At least 2-3 year of technical experience in aeronautical sector: especially in Aircraft Maintenance, ILS, Production Engineering, Airframes Design or experience with Warehouse, Procurement and other departments to optimize processes, Knowledge of Windchill and SAP. Pure Technical profile. Background in technical problems solving, trouble‑shooting, spare definition and maintenance concept.
Core Execution (AMM Lifecycle): Coordinate and pilot AMM authoring activities per contractual commitments. You will define the consequences of design changes (Modifications, Service Bulletins) on the AMM to enable safe operations.
Produce and validate Data Modules complying strictly with specifications, ATA standards, and Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE100) to avoid ambiguity in safety‑critical tasks.
Customer Support (AOG Response): Provide rapid solutions to customer requests (Technical Events/Queries) with appropriate documentation updates, managing high‑pressure situations such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) scenarios.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical field.
3 to 5+ years in the Technical Data domain, specifically with strong experience in AMM authoring, technical problem solving, and maintenance concept definition.
