A leading energy company in Spain is seeking an Accounting System Analyst to support the implementation and maintenance of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensuring smooth system operations. Ideal candidates will have strong SQL skills, a Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields, and relevant experience with Oracle ERP systems. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to vital financial reporting processes in a dynamic team environment.

Formación

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (Financials) and EPM, or Oracle Cloud Services.
  • Experience in SQL-based data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in English, any additional language is an asset.

Job Title: Accounting System Analyst

The purpose of the Accounting System Analyst is to support and enhance the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM within the Financial Reporting Team, by translating business needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining smooth system operations.

This role is responsible for participating in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM systems, as well as related IT finance applications. The System Analyst/Super User will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support data migration and validation processes. The position involves coordinating system testing, addressing technical issues, and bridging the gap between technical teams and business users. Strong SQL skills, a foundational understanding of accounting principles, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM within the Financial Reporting Team.
  • Coordinate system setup, configuration, and user/system testing.
  • Assist in data migration using FBDI templates and validation tools.
  • Execute SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Gather business and functional requirements from finance and operational teams.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure mutual understanding between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Design, develop, and maintain IT finance applications.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support when required..
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Additional studies or certifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration are an advantage.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM, SQL) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (Financials) and EPM, or Oracle Cloud Services.
  • Experience in SQL-based data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Background in collaborating with finance and operational teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Previous involvement in data migration processes using FBDI templates and validation tools is an advantage.
  • SQL for data extraction, queries, and validation.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance processes.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, willingness to learn new concepts, and readiness to take on challenges.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) any additional language an asset.
