Your goal will be to develop and administer the technical infrastructure that underpins our mobile application. If you enjoy automating systems and their deployment, optimizing performance and scaling distributed systems while keeping everything secure, we’re looking for you.

This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.

• Design and manage infrastructure configurations for high availability and performance

• Automate processes for consistent and reliable deployment and scaling

• Monitor application performance, execute optimizations and troubleshoot issues

• Collaborate closely with development teams to tailor infrastructure to application needs

• Document systems processes and architecture, guiding cost-efficiency in infrastructure utilization

• Adopt new technologies and integrate third-party services for continuous platform enhancement

• Offer internal technical support for the team, perform system maintenance and ensure scalability to meet user demands

Here’s a snapshot of the technologies you’ll work with:

• Infrastructure & platform: Kubernetes (Amazon EKS, Rancher), Docker, Linux

• CI/CD & automation: GitHub Actions, Ansible, Argo

• Databases: MariaDB, PostgreSQL

• Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, Graylog

• Programming & scripting: Go, Python, Bash

• Project management: GitHub, Jira

• 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE or Systems Administrator with strong programming/scripting skills in either Go, Python or Bash

• Hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes operations and containerized infrastructure (Amazon EKS, Docker, Rancher)

• Solid understanding of networking and security protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP/UDP) and Linux system administration

• Familiarity with database administration (MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL)

• Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu)

• Analytical problem‑solver with attention to detail and a drive for operational excellence

• You embrace ownership and impact—communicating complex topics clearly in English, aligning efforts across functions and driving meaningful change in our scaling organization.
