We are seeking an organized, experienced, and driven Senior Software Engineer. The role involves delivering high-quality code and advancing our software capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring on-time delivery of quality software across various cloud architectures
• Collaborating with and mentoring teammates to foster a productive environment

Qualifications:

• 5 – 8+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, primarily using Go or Python, with strong JavaScript skills
• Proven experience with architectural patterns for large-scale web applications, including well-designed APIs, high-volume pipelines, and efficient algorithms in cloud environments
• Experience in microservices architecture, API design, messaging, event-handling (e.g., SQS, SNS, Kafka), and data consumption patterns
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redshift, etc.), in-memory stores (Redis/Memcached), and NoSQL systems (MongoDB / CouchDB)
• Experience building DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) from code repositories (GitHub) with secure coding practices (OWASP, SANS)
• Ability to develop platforms and user experiences that stream personalized content leveraging data-driven patterns
• Knowledge of agile and Scrum methodologies and a desire to refine your agile skills
• Independently complete work while collaborating effectively within a team
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and mentorship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (integrity, patience, empathy)

Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience with AWS services (Lambda/SAM, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, Airflow, Glue, EC2, S3)
• Database design and development for high-volume data (millions of records)
• Strong Python expertise (or Go with willingness to learn Python)
• Proficiency with ReactJS
• Knowledge of Rust is a plus
• Experience with modern web scraping tools (Playwright, Puppeteer, BrightData, Scrapy)
• Understanding of SDLC best practices
• Skills in troubleshooting and performance tuning
