Your Responsibilities:

• Independently manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting
• Accurate account assignment and posting of current business transactions
• Posting bank statements and performing account reconciliation and clarification
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure SOX compliance and actively participate in internal and external audits
• Generate insightful reports and statistics
• Handle various administrative accounting tasks
• Communicate and correspond in both German and English

What You Bring to the Table:

• Completed commercial training (e.g., office clerk) or equivalent qualification
• Relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP or Navision is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Fluent in German and competent in English, both written and spoken
• A sharp eye for detail and a passion for working with numbers
• A quick learner, able to adapt to new responsibilities and tasks
• Team player with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
