As an experienced network engineer, you will join our development team and take responsibility for ensuring reliable data transmission between our teleoperated forklifts and the remote-driving system in industrial environments. Your main task will be to design and implement a wireless communication system with low latency, high availability, and stability for real-time applications. Your challenge will be to integrate our remote forklifts into a wide variety of network environments and develop a scalable process that ensures consistently high performance and uptime across all setups. Working closely with the entire development team, you will help optimize and advance technologies in the WiFi and 5G space to maximize system robustness. Additionally, your expertise will play a key role in shaping our system architecture as part of our IT security compliance efforts.

• Your foundation is a completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• You have extensive expertise with technologies such as WiFi, LAN, switching, firewalls, and 5G networks
• You possess hands-on experience in building, operating, and troubleshooting complex network systems – ideally even in industrial real-time applications
• If you additionally bring experience in IT security, that's a significant advantage
• You\'ll also score points with strong programming skills, particularly in C++, Python, or Bash
• You're an excellent communicator and a true team player, but you can just as effectively drive projects forward independently
• You speak German and English fluently, enabling you to communicate seamlessly within the team and with our international clients

• You ensure a robust and redundant network connection for our vehicles in challenging industrial environments
• You optimize wireless connections to minimize latency while maximizing both availability and reliability
• You take the VPN transmission of our vehicle video data to the next level, spanning multiple sites and vehicles
• You design and implement new technologies and processes to continuously enhance our IT security
• You develop software interfaces that allow you to actively monitor and control network connections
• You act as the liaison to other teams and our customers regarding the integration of our system into their networks
