Job summary
A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join a supportive Aboriginal community in remote Western Australia. This role involves providing culturally safe care to mothers and children, including antenatal support and child health checks. Candidates must have AHPRA registration and at least one year of relevant nursing experience. We’re currently recruiting for a Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join a supportive Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in remote Western Australia. This is a chance to make a real difference, providing care and education to families in a welcoming community setting.

As a Maternal and Child Health Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality, culturally safe care to Aboriginal families in the Kimberley region. Your role will focus on the health and wellbeing of mothers, infants, and young children through:
- Antenatal and postnatal care
- Child health checks and immunisations
- Growth, nutrition, and developmental monitoring
- Supporting parenting and early childhood education programs
- Health promotion and preventative education for families
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve long-term outcomes
