To support our client - the premium car manufacturer BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) - we are looking for a specialist (m/f/d) for the Development of Android Application Platform on a temporary basis.

1. Ensure the technical conformity of the Android platform, including cross-generational use and Google certification.
2. Execute automated tests and operate the test rack within the framework of Google CTS assurance (Google compatibility).
3. Review changing test cases with the compatibility team and adapt the test environment accordingly.
4. Consolidate various technical requirements to ensure stable test execution.

1. Successful completion of studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
2. Several years of experience in software engineering, preferably in consumer electronics and vehicle infotainment systems.
3. Experience in testing, test automation, and analysis.
4. Preferably experience with the Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) or the Google Compatibility Programme.
5. Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Bash, Java, and Kotlin.
6. Fluent German and good English skills required.
