BBIS has an opening for a Primary School German Teacher (f/m/d)
Part-Time: 30/30 teaching hours per week (40 working hours)
Start date: 1st August 2025
Limited initially until 31st July 2027

• Primary German Teaching certification with experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
• Team player, resilient, positive & has a growth mindset. Willing to learn and take risks

• Effective practice to utilize technology within teaching and learning

• Willing to engage in after school activities and commitments to support student learning

Important: Before beginning the employment at BBIS, the following documents must be submitted:

• Proof of immunity against measles, which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively, a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
• The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree.
• An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.

These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.

• Teach German (Language and Literature and German Language Acquistion) through the IBPYP framework
• Support concept based inquiry in German teaching and learning
• Work in an inclusive environment with a diverse cohort of students
• Differentiate to accommodate individual needs
• Plan, assess and report against clear learning outcomes
• Collaborate with others and embrace opportunities for team teaching
• Have strong beliefs that all students can access and succeed in German Language and that the cornerstone of student confidence is the acquisition of foundational content, skills, and understandings
• Have a keen interest in promoting student well-being through teaching and learning in the German classroom and beyond
