MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As Germany accelerates its energy transition, residential battery storage is the critical missing piece—maximizing solar self-consumption, reducing grid dependence, and empowering homeowners with clean energy autonomy. At the center of this shift is the need for strong, sales-driven professionals who can turn opportunity into action.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a proven ability to sell, a strong personal network, and a passion for delivering customer excellence. If you have the drive to grow business, close high-impact deals, and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced renewable energy sector—this is your opportunity to lead the charge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
  • Sell RelentlesslyOwn the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. You are expected togenerate, manage, and close opportunitiesindependently.
  • Leverage Your NetworkBring and expand your ownstrong portfolio of installer anddistribution network and relationshipsto accelerate our market reach and sales velocity.
  • Champion Customer ExcellencePlace the customer at the center of everything. Understand their needs, deliver outstanding service, and build long-term trust and loyalty.
  • Drive Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to consistentlyexceed revenue targets. Prioritize high-impact accounts and deliver results.
  • Position with AuthorityConfidently communicate thevalue propositionof our storage solutions, technically and commercially.Differentiateus clearly from competitors.
  • Collaborate InternallyPartner closely with internal teams—including marketing, operations, product, and executive leadership—to deliver an aligned, best-in-class customer experience.
  • Represent Canadian SolarAct as the face of the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer engagements. Build brand awareness and new business opportunities.
COMPETENCIES
  • Proactive, results-driven with a pragmatic mindset andstrong senseof urgency.
  • Hands-on approach, down-to-earth mentality, and ability to work autonomously under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels, including executive management in an international environment.
LANGUAGES
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
LOCATION
  • Germany

  • Minimum10 years’ experiencein B2B sales in solar, energy storage, or cleantech
  • Arobust personal networkof EPCs, installers, and partners ready to engage
  • Strongsalestrack record, withclear evidenceof independently closing complex, high-value deals
  • Deeptechnical knowledgeof residential battery storage systems (string inverter experience is a plus)
  • Fluency inGerman and English, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Degree inEngineering, Business, or a related field
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with a passion forcustomer success
  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across all organizational levels
  • Strong teamplayer with a focus oninternal collaborationto ensure alignment and efficiency across departments
