Why we need this role?
Supports the development and implementation of the sales strategy, identifying new clients and business opportunities, and working closely with the existing client base to aid retention. Negotiates contracts to ensure mutually beneficial business relationships.
What you will do:
- Define, own, propose, and lead the technology solution strategy across high-profile, complex, and strategic Network and CyberSecurity customer engagements.
- Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, operations, and delivery teams to ensure comprehensive client proposals that highlight business and technology value.
- Work alongside the Commercial Client Partner to align on the sales strategy, including legal and contractual aspects.
- Support account teams in developing new business, upselling, and cross-selling within focus accounts.
- Become a subject matter expert in consultative technology sales, especially in Networking and Network Security, and adjacent areas like Cloud, Voice/UC.
- Demonstrate virtual leadership skills in critical customer engagements involving multiple functions.
- Showcase product knowledge in sales presentations and negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams on strategic bids and initiatives.
- Lead pricing, product positioning, and commercial decisions with partners.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure cost management, budget adherence, and timely delivery of projects.
What we are looking for:
- Expertise in traditional networking: SD WAN/SASE/WAN/LAN/WiFi/CyberSecurity.
- Understanding of related services such as Internet, Cloud, with foundational Cisco training (CCIE/CCNx/CCDx) or equivalent.
- Experience across multiple technology areas like Solutions, Sales, Project Management, Operations.
- Familiarity with major vendors like Versa, Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Fortinet, Zscaler, Palo Alto.
- Ability to articulate technology solutions as business value narratives and define overarching technology strategies.
- Proven success leading complex, high-value technical sales projects.
- Experience in leading virtual, cross-organizational teams during sales cycles and ongoing operations.
- Thought leadership in the technology space, capable of contributing to white papers, blogs, podcasts, and industry presentations.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
